AdChat Media Activation

In almost all cases, media activation involves AdChat publishing approved creatives from our Google Studio account to an agency/brand Campaign Manager account. If you work with a different ad serving platform, we’ve likely integrated with them as well.

We need the email address for the trafficker on your team so that these two media activation steps can be completed:

  • AdChat requests an advertiser assocation from Studio with a trafficking code. The trafficking code is an alphanumeric string that looks something like this:

    AKk92yNpCD7mDGmhc6frpRiDwXx5m0k3SsZbLbtai99mc4hkZqNoFxC0rpj-r7eRMOK3dqXkvUpiTHNWX7vVaFFC5Vu1

The trafficker on your team will receive instructions to copy and paste the code in the “Add Trafficking Code FromĀ Studio” field in the appropriate advertiser’s settings in the ad-server trafficking UI. The advertiser association connects our Google Studio account to your CM360 account, allowing us to publish approved ads.
  • Once the advertiser association is made, Studio creatives are transferred to your advertiser-level creative library in CM360.

AdChat’s ad formats work with any DSP. If you’re using DV360, and the DV360 and CM360 accounts areĀ linked, the hosted creative that we published to CM360 will automatically be shared with DV360.

If you use another DSP, you can follow the tag workflow in CM360 to generate the necessary tags.
